Private Tutorials

Marian Haddad conducts private tutorials with writing students ranging from 3rd grade to graduate level, ranging from beginning to intermediate to advanced.

These private tutorials are often gauged to take the student from finding voice, to implementing line-breaks, enjambment, and other writing techniques to achieve various styles, exploring a number of approaches. Heightened dialogue and attentive detail to the students’ progression, pace and success are of utmost importance.

Once the student has created a substantial amount of work, the private tutorials or mentorships can then extend into a guided approach to publishing in various journals, periodicals and anthologies, with the ultimate possibility of extending into a guided manuscript compilation. At the point of manuscript compilation, the private student often extends the private tutorial/mentorship into a manuscript consultation level, which includes a guided approach to submission with various publishers, often culminating in manuscript acceptance.
